This was really fun. Took a while though.

This is also the first time I have done this type of manip.
Hence the repeating smoke images and blurry edges..

I got the idea when I saw what looked like little animals in smoke. One thing led to another and I ended up with a pot, a humming bird, and smoke.

how dis you make the smoke in the shape of the bird as well as making the huming bird part of it. I would like to know this techniques.

I found some smoke images that I liked for different parts of the bird, then in photoshop I selected a specific part.

Try:
Free transform(ctrl+t)
right click
select warp which lays a grid over the layer, then warp to the shape.
